The exhibit will feature twenty one (21) new floral paintings on paper, which focuses on his love of mark making.

“It was hard to decide to do a show of just single floral paintings. I make so many of these to get the one that looks “right”. To create twentyone I’m satisfied with is not easy” says Arajs.

You will be able to view the exhibition beginning at 12 noon Pacific time on November 1st until 12 noon Pacific time of December 20th. All work will be available for sale.

Art-A-Whirl 2008

Here is where you can see Pilot Artists for Art-A-Whirl 2008:

Yuri Arajs (pictured above in his exhibition space for art-a-whirl) is putting on a major showing in a 12,000 foot warehouse space with his own Placement Gallery You will be able to see new work there by Pilot artists JAO, Jennifer Davis, Terrence Payne, Amy Rice and Yuri Arajs.
Exhibit location: Thorp Building, 1620 Central Avenue NE, space 125, Minneapolis
Gallery hours: Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 12-8pm, Sunday 12-5pm

You will be able to see Michael Sweere in the same building (right next door in fact) as he will have a booth and be demonstrating his technique with the Minnesota Mosaic Guild.

John Alspach will be showing showing at Danish Teak Classics in the NKB, Gallery 13's Pop-up space on van Buren next to NKB and at Shiny Robot Studio Sat & Sun. (please see art-a-whirl website for directions and locations to NKB-The Northup King Building.) Shiny Robot Studio's are located at 503 1st Ave NE on the second and third floor.

You will be able to see the work of Ben Olson and Amy Rice in the Shiny Robot Studios as well.
